Tamil Hindu heritage is deep, vast, rich and relevant. Symmetry and proportion of Bharatanatyam reflects that of the Temple, where it is customarily hosted. The interior and exterior walls, halls and pillars offer the reference library, in the spellbinding dance sculptures carved in them, for the dancer and the audience to learn, reflect and relearn from. Metered poetry slips comfortably into the ancient pann music recitals. All these FIVE ARTS ( dance, music, poetry, sculpture and sthapatya-veda-architecture) are wrapped in rhythm, in unique and precise resonance, to ignite the creative flow through the artistes-of-the-five-arts. This rhythm Mayan expounded through the landscapes of Time and Space. Thus was born in his cognition, the widely known exquisite dance icon Nataraja -- The Lord of Dance!
